I have a special place in my heart for Fairytales. The beautiful stories, the lighting, the example of Good triumphing over Evil, of heroism and sacrifice. The joyful memories of watching them with my sweet little girl. And in difficult times in my life they have been answers to prayer, I have been lifted up by them, believing in the end my dreams will come true, all will be set right.
We had some fun when the mural I did for my daughters room went viral. You can read about it here. : )
I am so thankful for the talent God has blessed me with!
I have been intrigued by and in love with trees since I was a child. In the summer providing cozy places of shade. Giving us good things to eat. Simply providing beauty. Can you imagine if there were none? They are enchanting and enduring.
And mountains, lakes, rivers, meadows, sunsets. All so beautiful. Speaking volumes about the one who created them.
This is from a memory of a sunny afternoon walking down Mt. Carmel in Israel.
Spring in the Churchyard
This was done for our Aunt, and I painted it on a day that felt just like that. White fluffy spring trees, sunshine, most wonderful time of the year : )
